Electromagnetic and acoustic Fano Interference in Surface Acoustic Wave Resonators Until now, detecting minute environmental changes with surface acoustic waves relied on optimising device design or electrical signals. This work introduces a method that instead engineers the very response of these devices via tailored interference effects, enhancing detectability of frequency shifts. Such control opens new avenues for more sensitive sensors across fields ranging from materials science to quantum technologies.
