SEALSQ has announced a major expansion of its global quantum infrastructure, significantly broadening the reach of its 'Quantum Highway.' The network now integrates nine interconnected hubs, creating a robust framework for quantum communication and data security across several key European regions.
The newly established nodes link major locations including La Línea, Murcia, Toulouse, Meyreuil, Grenoble, Geneva, and Lausanne. Furthermore, the network is set to include a forthcoming center based in Switzerland, further solidifying the company's footprint in the European quantum ecosystem.
Beyond the European continent, SEALSQ is extending its 'Sovereign Quantum Corridor' to Chicago. This expansion is made possible through a collaboration with EeroQ, aiming to provide a secure, high-integrity quantum communication pathway between the two continents.
This infrastructure development is a critical step toward establishing a scalable, sovereign quantum network. By linking diverse geographic hubs, SEALSQ is facilitating the transition from localized quantum experiments to a functional, interconnected global infrastructure capable of supporting secure quantum communications.
The expansion underscores the growing demand for secure quantum networking. By creating a dedicated corridor, SEALSQ and its partners are addressing the urgent need for infrastructure that can protect sensitive data against the emerging threats posed by quantum computing capabilities.
