PRESS RELEASE — Sectigo today announced the launch of Sectigo Quantum Ready , a cryptographic discovery and quantum readiness solution designed to help enterprises discover and map cryptographic assets and dependencies across their entire environment, assess PQC risk exposure and prioritize quantum migration planning. The launch also marks Sectigo ‘s entry into the emerging Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM) space. Through Sectigo Quantum Ready , the company provides organizations with an actionable path from quantum awareness to action, enabling them to build continuous quantum readiness and long-term crypto agility.
Governments, standards bodies and major technology providers are actively accelerating PQC migration efforts, increasing pressure on IT teams to understand where their own organizations’ vulnerable cryptography exists today, the risk it poses and what must change over time to stay secure. Yet a fundamental barrier remains: organizations cannot protect and replace cryptography they cannot find. As enterprises assess quantum readiness, they need more than a point-in-time assessment. Readiness must become an ongoing operational discipline as cryptography and standards evolve.
Making Quantum Readiness Operational with Sectigo Quantum Ready
Sectigo Quantum Ready helps enterprises create a Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) that provides a clearer view of where cryptography exists, what systems and services depend on it, and where quantum exposure may create risk. The solution then evaluates that exposure based on business criticality, data sensitivity, dependencies and migration complexity, helping organizations determine what requires action first, ultimately helping them manage and prioritize their migration.
“The industry is moving beyond conversations about algorithms and toward the operational challenge of managing PQC readiness at enterprise scale. The hardest part of that transition is knowing where cryptography lives, what depends on it and how to change it without disrupting the business,” said Ian Hassard, Chief Product Officer at Sectigo . “As organizations move from awareness to action in their quantum journey, they need more than guidance alone. Sectigo Quantum Ready gives enterprises the visibility, context, and evidence needed to build a prioritized action plan for post-quantum readiness.”
How Sectigo Approaches Quantum Security Posture Management (QSPM)
Sectigo Quantum Ready sits within the company’s broader QSPM approach, which combines cryptographic discovery, risk prioritization and certificate lifecycle management (CLM) to manage cryptographic change. Sectigo Quantum Ready provides discovery and risk assessment capabilities, while Sectigo Certificate Manager , Sectigo’s flagship CLM platform, provides the lifecycle automation and orchestration required to execute cryptographic change at scale.
The approach centers on three key capabilities:
- Discover: Identify cryptographic assets, dependencies and PQC exposure across the environment.
- Plan: Prioritize risk and define a practical migration path based on business impact and complexity.
- Manage: Execute, govern and continuously adapt cryptographic change as technologies, standards and threats evolve.
“Entering the Quantum Security Posture Management space is a natural next step for Sectigo and a natural evolution of our leadership in digital trust,” said Kevin Weiss, Chief Executive Officer at Sectigo. “We have been building toward this position for some time through practical innovations such as Sectigo PQC Labs and Private PQC in Sectigo Certificate Manager . As market attention around PQC and crypto agility accelerates, we are expanding that vision to help define how organizations approach continuous quantum readiness and long-term crypto agility. Sectigo Quantum Ready is a clear example of Simplicity at Scale in action. As cryptographic environments become increasingly complex, the way forward needs to remain simple.”
