Previously, quantifying ‘quantum magic’, the resource needed for surpassing classical computation, demanded optimisation procedures impractical beyond a few qubits. Now, calculations previously requiring intensive numerical methods have yielded to analytical solutions via real-space renormalisation group techniques. This advancement allows exploration of larger systems and reveals how non-stabilizerness changes as complexity increases within spin Hamiltonians.
